COALITION PPE SOURCING GUIDE

The Coalition has canvassed the market to find reliable PPE sources with large domestic inventories and reasonable prices. We have compiled a Coalition PPE Sourcing Guide that is now available for your use which includes sources you may not have come across elsewhere.

Please note that these are NOT vetted Coalition Partner Vendors. Please exercise your standard transaction security procedures per your school’s policies.

There is contact information for each vendor should you have questions or want to place an order. Vendors will have item descriptions and details in addition to what is shown in the guide.

The guide will be updated with new items and sources as they come to our attention. Please check back often. We hope this guide helps as you work to secure the items you need for a safe and successful fall semester.

 



In the ever changing world of COVID-19 Tests, there are three types of tests that have emerged:

  • rapid antibody tests (finger prick): typically less than $21 per test, results in less than 15 minutes
  • rapid antigen tests (nose, throat or sputum); typically less than $21 per test, results in less than 30 minutes
  • lab confirmed molecular tests (nose, throat or saliva); typically greater than $100, results in 24-72 hours

Employing a testing strategy that comprises 1) a fast and economical option to screen large volumes of people and that identifies asymptomatic persons, followed by 2) a targeted number of confirmation RT-PCR tests yields a competent and implementable testing solution to operate safely during the COVID-19 pandemic.
