The Coalition has canvassed the market to find reliable PPE sources with large domestic inventories and reasonable prices. We have compiled a Coalition PPE Sourcing Guide that is now available for your use which includes sources you may not have come across elsewhere.

Please note that these are NOT vetted Coalition Partner Vendors. Please exercise your standard transaction security procedures per your school’s policies.

There is contact information for each vendor should you have questions or want to place an order. Vendors will have item descriptions and details in addition to what is shown in the guide.

The guide will be updated with new items and sources as they come to our attention. Please check back often. We hope this guide helps as you work to secure the items you need for a safe and successful fall semester.

Information & Policy Changes


As the COVID-19 health crisis continues to evolve, UnitedHealthcareStudentResources has responded with several policy changes to ensure that members continue to receive top-notch care. In addition to waiving many costs and exclusions associated with the virus, we have added new support services to help students stay mentally and physically healthy. Dates are subject to change as the situation evolves.


Covid 19 Diagnostic Testing

Cost-sharing will be waived for diagnostic testing (ordered by a licensed physician or other health care professional) from March 18, 2020 through July 24, 2020. Testing must be provided at approved locations in accordance with U.S. Centers for disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidelines including FDA approved testing at designated labs around the country.


Covid 19 Antibody Testing

Cost-sharing will be waived for FDA approved antibody testing (ordered by a licenses physician or other health care professional) through July 24, 2020.


Covid 19 Testing-Related Visits

Cost-sharing will be waived for visits to a health care provider's office, urgent care center, emergency center, or via telehealth through July 24, 2020.


Covid 19 Treatment

If treatment occurs under a Covid 19 admission or diagnosis code, cost-sharing will be waived from February 4, 2020 through July 24, 2020. This includes urgent care and emergency department visits, observation stays, inpatient hospital episodes, acute inpatient rehab, long-term acute care, and skilled nursing facilities.



All policies that have access to HealthiestYou will continue to provide telehealth visits at no cost throughout the policy year. In addition, between March 31, 2020 and June 18, 2020, we will also be waiving cost-sharing for telehealth services by in-network providers, for both Covid 19 and non-Covid 19 telehealth visits.
